Kathmandu / NEB students at Premier International IB Continuum School are redefining education through student-led initiatives that blend innovation, entrepreneurship, and storytelling. Three flagship projects—The Voice, Futurepreneurs Fair 2025, and the NEB STEAM Fair—stood as powerful examples of student ownership and real-world application.

Unlike traditional school-led projects, these initiatives were fully conceived, planned, and executed by the students themselves—underscoring the NEB program’s core philosophy of leadership through action.

Futurepreneurs Fair 2025: Business Meets Creativity
In Futurepreneurs Fair 2025, NEB students with a passion for business and marketing stepped into the shoes of brand managers, crafting campaigns for four renowned companies: Goldstar, Century, Makkuse, and Silk Artisanal Creamery. Each group answered the challenge, “If I were the marketing manager, what would I do?”, pitching strategic, research-backed plans to a panel of industry leaders.

The judging panel included Vidushi Rana (Executive Director, Goldstar), Shobana Dugar (Executive Director, Century), Mr. Ming (Executive Director, Makkuse), and Rishabh Agrawal (Founder, Silk). They applauded the students’ creativity and professionalism. Ms. Rana remarked, “I was surprised to see that 16–17-year-olds can present marketing campaigns at this level,” and even offered internships to students representing Goldstar—highlighting the real-world relevance of the program.

NEB STEAM Fair: Innovation with Impact
At the NEB STEAM Fair, students showcased five forward-thinking projects at the intersection of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Tackling real-world issues with innovation and empathy, the projects included:

TrashTrawler: a floating system to remove waste from lakes and rivers
Line Follower Robot: an automation solution for cleaning school corridors
EcoScribes: sustainable writing tools made with recycled paper and plant-based ink
LibraTech: a barcode-based inventory system for libraries
Silva: a student-created brand of eco-conscious lip balms and perfumes
What distinguished these projects was the student-driven approach: from ideation to prototyping and even fundraising. Guests like Mr. Sunoj Das Shrestha (Karkhana) and Ms. Saloni Rajbhandari (Laali) praised the students’ creativity, teamwork, and environmental commitment.

The Voice: Students Take the Mic
In The Voice, Language and Literature students launched a fully student-run magazine chronicling the academic year. From content creation to editorial leadership, students managed every aspect—writing, editing, design, and team coordination—proving their capacity to tell stories that matter and shape school culture.

    A New Model of Learning
Across all three projects, Premier’s NEB students showcased initiative, collaboration, and purpose. The NEB program stood out this year as a transformative academic pathway—where students didn’t just prepare for exams but led businesses, built solutions, and gave voice to their experiences.

With a unique blend of academic rigor and experiential learning, Premier’s NEB curriculum continues to empower students to lead with independence, creativity, and vision.
